Policies are often the choice of writing books, and many of them will use these books to get their volunteer base. It has always been an excellent tool for powerful politicians in the House of Representatives and the Senate, or perhaps even run for the presidency. Often, the governors of states will also write books and the books they use to drive their popularity, and help establish themselves as experts of the integrity and credibility.
Not long ago, I pulled an old book in my library by a politician, who later became president. In retrospect, much of what he wrote in the book does not go well even with him as president. His initiatives in agriculture has been transformed into social policy of the company. His ideas of arms control only leads to a lie, and North Korea over its missile if it was my turn to catch Osama bin Laden, he has failed. His initiatives on civil rights has been transformed in little more than political correctness. And medical services solely funded HMO and created many millionaires.
Regarding the American Disabilities Act, it was all over the country will be sued by lawyers for small businesses. When it comes to immigration, he did not, not everyone is either president, but it's interesting. It has also been unable to resolve the problem between Israel and Palestine, as if it is still solvable, or if there is never any peace.
